The Metrodome is about to be demolished and I am missing the Metrodome already. Thing's won't look the same in Minneapolis but we are excited for the new stadium!

Metrodome Memories from a Vikings Fan

It's the end of an era for the Vikings Metrodome. And how do we feel about that? I'm not sure. It's a dump, but it's our dump.


When you ask football fans what they will remember most about the Metrodome, the two answers would probably be Gary Anderson's missed field goal for the Vikings in the NFC championship game in January of 1999 (still crying about that one) and the roof casually collapsing from the snow a few years ago.

I'm Thankful for the Metrodome!

As Thanksgiving is coming up, I can't help but to think of all the things I'm thankful for. And after family, friends and my health, obviously the Minnesota Vikings and Metrodome are at the top of the list! Although they haven't played their game this season, the Minnesota Vikings are my football team and I will always be thankful for them! And this is the last year of the Metrodome so we have even more to be thankful for :)
