Metrodome Purple Makeover
For the first time this summer since 1981, the Metrodome is not home to the Minnesota Twins. Walking downtown Minneapolis and seeing the stadium still decorated with Minnesota Vikings apparel shows it is just now home to the Vikings. Now, the Metrodome is getting another face lift to make it more of a Vikings look. The Metrodome is getting a purple makeover, with parts of the stadium painted purple and gold. The old red beams on the exterior of the dome are getting a coat of purple paint. The inside is also getting a makeover, with areas that used to be red are now purple or gold, including bathroom walls. Also, new artificial turf will be put in by August 28th.
