Minnesota Twins Countdown to Goodbye Starts this weekend

A packed Metrodome for a Twins Game
We all knew it was coming, the end of the season has been looming since the Twins Home Opener. Yet, even so it is hard to write that we are now a mere 6 home series away from saying goodbye to the Metrodome-Twins relationship. While Target Field is going to be nice and shiny and new, in my opinion it will never be the Metrodome. The Metrodome holds so many fond memories, not just for me (though it is one of the first Minnesotan things I loved when I moved here) but for the Twins as well... Kerby Pucket played there, we won championships there, but mostly it just feels like it should be the Home of the Twins.

If you are like me and having a hard time picturing the Minnesota Twins without the Metrodome, I suggest getting Metrodome Tickets as soon as possible for this weekend's series against the Texas Rangers or buying tickets early for any of the other remaining Metrodome Twins Games, because while there are still tickets left now, I predict that as that fateful day approaches there will be a rush of nostalgia that sells out the Metrodome.

Vikings Preseason Tickets

I took my kids down the Minnesota Vikings game yesterday and was surprised to find that I could buy Minnesota Vikings Tickets for only $10/Ticket from Ticket King. I felt pretty lucky considering the fact that it was the first time that Brett Favre wore a Minnesota Vikings jersey. I hope that the same type of prices are available for the Vikings vs. Dallas Cowboys game in a few weeks at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Those prices, make it totally affordable to take the family to a Vikings game before the Vikings Tickets become more expensive once the regular season starts. I highly recommend checking out Ticket King the day of any Vikings game. The prices are totally reasonable. GO VIKES!!!

Minnesota Vikings Come Home to the Metrodome Friday

With the Minnesota Twins gone all week and weekend it is time to think about the other tenant of the HHH Metrodome, the MINNESOTA VIKINGS who will be returning the the Metrodome Friday August 21st to play the Kansas City Chiefs. With Brett Favre signing his contract with the Vikings this week, tomorrow's game will be much bigger than anticipated. The Metrodome staff are gearing up for a packed house of loud and crazy Vikings fans as well as just the average Twin Cities dwellers who are eager to get a peak at the former cheesehead who has made one of the biggest media-splashes of the summer.

Minnesota Vikings Tickets for the HHH Metrodome are still available but are selling very fast, so don't delay in buying tickets! The Metrodome is sure to be sold out for the Vikings-Packers game in anticipation for Favre cheers and jeers.

As the Twins say goodbye to the Dome this fall, don't forget that you can still enjoy Minnesota Vikings games there all season!

Minnesota Twins vs. Cleveland Indians at the Metrodome this weekend

The sun is shining the air is hot and it is most definitely baseball weather. Its only Thursday but I can already smell the weekend backyard BBQ's and the lake calling my name. The other thing calling my name this weekend is the HHH Metrodome. The Minnesota Twins are going to start their second home series of the week at the Dome tomorrow with a three game series against the Clevland Indians.

The Twins face the Indians
Friday @ 7:10
Saturday @ 3:10
Sunday @ 1:10

With lots of heat and sunshine that won't quit, why not take a break from the summer weather and hit up the Metrodome and catch a baseball game before summer no longer is synonymous with Metrodome.
