Metrodome Site is Clean of Pollutants!

This blogger was doing some research to find interesting Vikings and Metrodome news for my readers when I found this article on Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. Apparently, there was some methane and horse feces under the Saint Paul Saints Midway Stadium which prompted further studies on other stadiums. A small bit of contaminated soil was found under one part of the Metrodome site, which is "probably more isolated and smaller than what they thought," said Michele Kelm-Helgen, chair of the authority, and the removal will be covered by the existing budget. Great news for everyone!

A view of the proposed stadium and downtown Minneapolis. The land is cleaner than feared.
